Paradise Lost

In Genesis 1, God created the world and everything in it, and it was “very good.” Just two chapters later, sin entered the world and everything from then on was tainted, including both marriage and sex. When we ignore God’s wisdom and presume to know what is best for us, we walk a very dangerous path that includes the loss of intimacy and trust as well as potential destruction. Although we can’t go back to the way things were before the first bite of the fruit, God graciously provides a way to move forward through His son Jesus Christ.
